This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how Starso (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use the PlantLore mobile application (“the App”).

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT USE OUR APPLICATION. THIS PRIVACY POLICY MAY CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF OUR SERVICES AFTER WE MAKE CHANGES IS DEEMED TO BE ACCEPTANCE OF THOSE CHANGES.

Information Collection and Use

Plant Identification and Photo Processing and Storage for PlantLore

  • Our plant identification processing service requires an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) and cannot work offline.
  • Photos are processed using our cloud services powered by Google's AI models.
  • Uploaded photos are temporarily stored in our Supabase storage for no longer than 48 hours to allow plant identification.
  • Within 48 hours, photos are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.
  • We do not share or use your photos for any purpose other than providing our service to you.
  • You maintain full ownership and rights to your photos.

User Data Information

When you use the App, we may collect:

  • Device ID, including Android ID for Android users and IDFV(Identifier for Vendors) for Apple users, is collected to uniquely identify your device.
  • Subscription status and purchase history (managed by RevenueCat)

If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. PlantLore is intended for general educational use and is not directed at children under 13.
